POSTPONED: District Title 1 Academic and Parent Appreciation Dinner Night has been postponed (for Wednesday, August 25, 2021) because of COVID 19 cases in our school district. In the past few weeks, Leonor Hambly K-8 School has had 10 students that tested positive for COVID 19. In addition, we have quarantined four grades because of the resurgent of the new COVID 19 variant. To help mitigate the increase of the COVID 19 spread, we have issued a Mask Mandate in our district. Our staff cleans desks, buses and restrooms regularly and are doing everything possible to prevent further spread. We will continue to encourage vaccinations and COVID 19 testing as needed. Also, the District can rapid test students, families and community members for COVID 19 if they are experiencing symptoms. The safety of our students and families is our top priority. We are making every effort to keep students in school for in-person learning. We need everyone to be wise and take precautions as we battle another wave of COVID 19 in our community.
